Dennis Rudolph is a contemporary artist based in Berlin, known for combining classical imagery with emerging technologies. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts, the Ilya Repin Academy of Arts in St Petersburg, and the Institute of Language and Culture in Beijing.
Working across painting, drawing, and video, Rudolph reinterprets the legacy of Western culture through abstract works rooted in historical images and narratives. In recent years, he has explored the possibilities of virtual reality, creating three-dimensional digital paintings and immersive spaces.
His work has been presented at international institutions and exhibitions, including KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin, the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, the Centre d'art contemporain de Brétigny in France, and Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin. Since 2014, Rudolph has directed State of the Art, an exhibition space, artist residency, and studio in Berlin.
