Faye Papargyropoulou was born in Athens in 1974. Her creative journey started from the art and design studies. In 1992, she graduated with a degree in industrial design.

Today, Faye creates unique ceramic objects, exploring the beauty of imperfection and questioning conventional notions of the form and function. She is inspired by clay as a material in which the form can remain vibrant, imperfect, and unpredictable.

In 2020, Faye Papargyropoulou took the next step in her artistic career by opening CERAMIC 47 studio in Athens, her personal space for creative expression. Here, the artist creates unique ceramic objects, which highlight the beauty of imperfection and challenge traditional understanding of the form and function. In her work, she connects the past with the present, reflecting a deep respect for art, nature, and contemporary design.

At Ceramic Brussels 2026, a major platform for contemporary ceramic art, Faye Papargyropoulou was one of the ten artists chosen to participate in the collective   exhibition as a part of the Ceramic Brussels Art Prize, which confirmed the international recognition of her artistic practice.
